Emily attended Columbus State for exercise science. She will continue her education in 2014.
Emily was an active child growing up, but was never a fan of organized sports; she simply enjoyed outdoor activity. In high school she developed an interest in nutrition and after graduation she began exploring distance running & weight-lifting. She was hooked.
Emily specializes in weight-loss/fat-loss, building lean muscle & increasing strength, developing fitness in untrained individuals, and assisting with eating disorder recovery. She believes any exercise is good exercise and fitness is achievable for everyone, it is just a matter of having a plan; having a trainer simply allows for focused goals, new/varied training techniques, less stress over planning, and better long term results.
